  1. Work Orders/Jobs in Sortly

    Ability to create work orders or jobs in Sortly. Assign inventory to be consumed at a job. Once the job is completed, the inventory quantity should automatically update in Sortly. Ability to see which jobs are in progress, completed etc and to see how much materials have been consumed on the job so far. Maybe even allow some integration with other job management software.

  2. Automatically resize images to fit thumbnails

    Description: When uploading images, the thumbnails often crop portions of the image, making the content unclear. It would be helpful if uploaded images were automatically resized or adjusted to fit within the thumbnail dimensions, ensuring the full image is visible without being obscured. Benefit: This would improve usability by keeping thumbnails clear and consistent, reducing the need for users to re-edit or re-upload images.

    I need to know that Sortly will use usage AND held quantity to flag up that more stock is required - if usage starts becoming high, it won't then be caught out by min stock holding being insufficient. I also need to know that it will allow forecasting - estimated use in future dates.

    When adding a part to your purchase order you have to manually add the part number. If it was added automatically it would make things a lot faster and smother

    The feature to search items based on the folder they're in is available on mobile but not on desktop. It would be great to be available on both.

  15. "Lock" a folder or subfolder so that it cannot be moved

    I had an issue where a team member moved a folder to another folder and didn't realize it. Days later they went to go into the folder and thought it "disappeared". After investigating, I found the missing folder tucked deep in another subfolder. I'd like to be able to "lock" subfolders so that they cannot be moved without a prompt or warning that a "locked" folder is being asked to move from it's location.
