this makes it easier and more efficient when organizing folders in a big sub folder. it would work so that when you click and hold you can drag one folder and place it into another by hovering over the folder you want to be the new destination

Allow users to add features a la carte and customize their plan.

Add the ability to update items via bulk import. An example of why this would be important is for a cycle count or a stock take.

The ability to use a public URL that will show customers/clients a user's inventory without having to log in.

Allow for components and finished products to be tracked organically and not by using the folder structure.

Allow users to design labels by choosing what information to include or exclude, and adjust elements such as font size, logo size, and overall layout.

Integrate with Shopify

We have some items that when bulk imported only had 1 variant, like 1 color. It would be helpful if we could add additional attributes and variants when we add another color or size of the same item. When that happens now, we need to delete the item and create a new one with the additional attributes and variants.

Ability to upload a picklist via attachment or bulk import.

"The Sortly system seems to a very capable system, but for our simple needs it is currently not a good fit for my organization. Many years ago, I was the receiving clerk in a warehouse. Since that time, I have been the Project Manager at a large nuclear power plant that installed an Inventory Control System for tools and instruments. Now I am the point person seeking an Inventory Management System for a non-profit, woodworking organization. One thing that is repeated in all 3 inventory related activities are a small number of processes that are repeated hundreds of times daily. Reducing the steps for these repeated processes is a time saver. Adding a method to automate such processes should make your existing, very functional system very attractive to every one of your current and future customers. For example, to check-out or check-in inventory items the Sortly user would have a Check-In, Check-in, and Done buttons on their smart phone or computer screen. The Sortly system user would select the Check-out/-in button, then scan a user’s ID badge followed by scanning one or more tools being checked-out or checked-in. To complete the process the Sortly user would select the Done button."

Users would like the ability to view and compare inventory across their warehouse locations directly within Sortly, without needing to export a report. For those who need to compare inventory daily, exporting data for all warehouse locations and manually reviewing it is time-consuming and inefficient.

Ability to have Sortly in Dark Mode.

We have at least half a dozen custom fields that we report on. To make it easier when my team is filling out the custom fields, it would be helpful if they couldn't complete the Item information without filling out all the required fields. Without that stopgap, we miss entering in details and are unable to have accurate reporting.

Possibility, to translate Sortly App and Web app into multiple languages.

Allow users to sort folders and items in any order.
